What kind of company is The Porn Emporium anyway?

We are a brand new startup company, owned and operated by me, Moisha of Moisha's World.  As an amateur model, I know firsthand how to not only manage amateur websites but also how it feels to be a model.  Taking pictures regularly can be difficult enough without having to worry about uploading galleries, managing administrative site issues, or even planning marketing and promotional events.  That's where my company can help.   We provide you with a stylish amateur website, handle all the details for you, and all you need to do is provide us with regular updates.  We make it possible for you to not only have your own website, but also to have it fit into your everyday life.    
 

What kind of experience do you guys have with this stuff?

For over five years, I have owned, operated, and modeled for Moisha's World, an amateur website.  I have a degree in computer science and am working on a degree in business.  I have extensive experience marketing these sites as well as managing the everyday administrative requirements.  My business partner has been a photographer in the pornography industry for many years and has even more experience with website design than I do.  If you're still not confidant, email me at models@porn-emporium.com, and we can discuss any lingering reservations or questions you may have. 
 

Alright, but what kinds of models are you looking for?

In short, we are looking for all kinds!  Everybody is perfect for our website.  I know when I first considered modeling, many people told me I was too heavy and that my weight would keep me from succeeding.  In reality, however, everybody has different and unique fantasies involving many kinds of men and women, so do not let anyone or anything discourage you from trying.
 

How frequently do I need to update?

Because frequent updates directly correlate to increased membership, we require a minimum of two sets per week of at least 75 high quality pictures per set (800 x 600 resolution), but updating more frequently with larger sets is preferred.  Keep in mind that the frequency, quality, and quantity of your updates impact membership, so in this case, more is definitely more.
 

Can I submit video files?

Absolutely!  Videos are a great and easy way to increase membership and attract people to your website.  Of course, your movies should be high quality and last at least three minutes.
 

What kind of pictures and videos do you want?

Picture content is completely of your choosing.  You can be either a hardcore model, a soft-core model, or somewhere in between.  What kind of pictures you submit are entirely at your discretion.  Be forewarned, nevertheless, that hardcore models do make more money than soft-core, but if being hardcore is something you are not comfortable with, don't do it.  I never stepped into the hardcore arena and stayed strictly soft-core.  Do what makes you the most comfortable.  As for videos, you can create strip tease videos, hardcore or toy play videos, video blogs, or even just videos of what goes on during a typical set.  Innovative and fresh content is a huge advantage.
 

I see that you use lingerie and sexy outfits for photosets.  Are the clothes provided for me or do I need to purchase them out of pocket?

We do have a lingerie closet for models that live nearby to use.  Otherwise, you will need to provide your own clothes.  A few friendly tips on purchasing lingerie:  First, avoid expensive places like Frederick's of Hollywood and either purchase online or through stores that sell discounted lingerie.  The lingerie should be cute, but it does not have to be high quality.  Secondly, once you've used a particular outfit, you can sell it on www.ebanned.com for a profit.  My company will list the item for you free of charge, and you can keep the entire profit from the sale.
 

How do I submit pictures and videos?

If you live near one of our photographers, he/she can take the pictures/videos for you and submit them directly to us.  If you have someone else take pictures/videos, we will provide you with all of the information necessary to have a smooth upload process.
 

How much do I get paid for my website?

Our payment plan utilizes a 60/40 split depending on who takes the pictures.  If you use one our photographers, we receive 60 percent of the profits of your website because the work and expenses on our end of the business increases.  If you submit your own pictures, however, you keep 60 percent of the profits.  Be forewarned:  If you decide to take the pictures yourself, they need to be high quality (i.e., no blurry photos, no dark lighting, etc.) 
 

How do I get paid for my membership?

We are currently using the payment processor CCBill.  CCBill has a script that we encode directly into the website with the payment split.  CCBill will send your portion of the profits directly to you.  We do not receive your portion of the profits.  However, within the next few months, we hope to create our own merchant account, in which case, we will process the payments from your website directly.
 

How long will it take for my site to be up and running, and what do I need to do for you to set it up?

Site design takes approximately 2 weeks, which includes creating the templates and setting up billing.  Additionally, before we can design your site, we will need enough pictures sets to create existing content for your members as well as an "About Me" autobiography so that your members can feel more connected with you.  Also, we will need to decide what kind of modeling you will be doing, how involved you want to be in your website, and what kind of content you will be uploading.
 

What does a member get when they join my site?

What a membership includes depends entirely upon your preferences.  At a minimum, a member will have access to your photos (and videos, if you upload those).  However, we offer several ways for you to improve your site for members, including but not limited to a "diary" section for you to post dreams, fantasies, and everyday events, a personal email through your website for direct member contact, and even the opportunity for personalized webcam chat sessions.  Your level of involvement is entirely of your choosing, and we will curtail your site to fit your needs.  Keep in mind that the more you promote your website and the more you interact with the members, the more you can expect to make.
 

So, how do I become a model?

Contact models@porn-emporium.com and submit several sample photos so that we can determine the quality of images.  We can also discuss what name you want to use and what kind of features you want for your website.  Lastly, once you have agreed to be an amateur model, we can send you all of the release forms and any further instructions.
 

What if I am interested in hardcore but do not have a partner, can you find one for me?

Unfortunately, no.  In many states that can be construed as solicitation of sex.  My personal advice, however, is to sign up to be a model now, and if you find a partner later on, we can transition your site to being more hardcore.
